Tree Removal

If you have a tree that requires removing altogether then either felling or dismantling will be the process used to achieve this.

Tree felling is a forestry term that refers to the process of cutting a tree down from the base in its entirety. We often use this technique in woodland management and less often on domestic properties, usually due to space restrictions and the potential of damaging the surface of the landing area.

Dismantling is the term used for the process of either climbing the tree and systematically taking it down in sections, or performing the same process using our 17.m cherry picker. Complex ropework and rigging is often used to ensure these section come down safely and without causing any unnecessary damage.

Have a look through the gallery below to see some of the techniques we use during the process of removing trees.
