Stump Removal

Digging tree stumps out by hand is an extremely difficult and time consuming. Using a mini digger or JCB can speed up this process but can create a lot of damage to the surrounding area and, what do you do with a great big tree stump once its been pulled out of the ground? Plus you need to have very good access to make this a viable option.

Our specialist stump grinders are relatively small and maneuverable thus allowing us to access the majority of tree stumps. Damage to the surrounding area is kept to a minimum and that's if there is any at all! What's even better is all that's left is an organic and compostable material, check out our gallery  below for a couple of examples.

Stump Removal: Service

After dismantling a large Conifer in this rear garden the customer wanted the stump grinding out. Their plan was to re-turf part of the area and make the rest into a new boarder so we ensured we groud out all the surface roots in the area. As you can see all that is left is compostable material.

The Conifer hedge at the front of this property had been neglected and past the point of making a nice neat hedge. First we removed the trees and then ground the stumps out.

All of the grindings were removed as it is not suitable for planting in. We reinstated with good quality topsoil and re-planted with bare rooted Beech hedging trees.

No tree stumps are too big for our machine!

It did however take a long time and required a lot of grindings removing off site.
